It is time again for another Holiday Greeting from the Paos! Let’s cover some of the highlights of 2010…
Stephen continues much of the same from last year… Barracuda Networks, upset his girls aren’t hackers, resorts to teaching them “real life” computer skills with the agreement being “Now remember, you didn’t learn this from me.” What?
Marsha runs her best half marathon at 1:49:49 to finish 51st in her age group at the San Jose Rock and Roll Half. That pretty much does it for her.
Christina now in the 7th grade discovers texting, make up, hair straighteners, chat, curling irons and still finds time to swim, run, and play guitar. She finishes 2nd in district in 30 second speed rope (110 jumps), places 1st in the Mermaid 10k run for her age both in Mountain View AND San Francisco, and wins quote of the year with “Wow, did I miss a meal?” after waking up past 11 am!
Annalisa now in 5th grade inspires the family to take an outdoor adventure vacation to Whistler B.C., decides the itinerary needs to include kayaking, horseback riding, and ziplining. (much to the horror of Marsha) However, not only does everyone survive, but everyone has a blast! Annalisa learns trumpet for band, plays guitar, continues gymnastics, swims, and also places 7th in district in 30 second speed rope (84 jumps) for her grade. She is very nervous that running is also in her future…
As always, keep in touch and hope you enjoy a healthy and fun filled 2011!
Marsha, Stephen, Christina (12) and Annalisa (10)
