September 11, 2013 – Houston, TX. Dad passed away at Memorial Hospital due to complications with his heart. He died peacefully among family and some very close friends. We will be planning a memorial service in Houston for the weekend of November 2nd. Information will be on the Y.H. Pao Tribute Page.
Today, Christina won fourth prize at the Sierra Nevada Guitar Festival 2013 in the Youth Division (15 – 18 year old). This was her first classical guitar competition ever, and we were all thrilled for her. Many thanks to her instructor Yuri Liberzon for all his support!
We feel so blessed to be able to spend time together and not worry about little ones. This was us being dorky taking a “selfie” using Marsha’s Samsung Galaxy S2. It’s currently her profile picture on Facebook, too.
The girls love to go out now as an excuse to get all dressed up! I took this picture in our kitchen before we got in the car!
Christina has been spending her winter break honing her skills with handcrafted candies. Despite watching “Scarface” where I learned not to “get high of my own supply,” I have sampled many of them.
